How we can find value in lapsing policies.
Problem:
A client was in business for over 40 years and they were filing bankruptcy. The key man life insurance that they had in place was about to lapse since they no longer had the premium to pay for the insurance.
Solution:
Instead of letting the policies lapse and not getting any money for it, M&K Financial Services LLC advised them to sell the insurance policies. The client ended up selling the policies for $500,000, which, were about to lapse anyway, and the client was able use the money to pay the creditors.
