Jeffrey Weiner CPA*

Jeffrey M. Weiner joined Marcum in 1981 and has served as Managing Partner since 1990. Under his leadership, Marcum has expanded from a one-office Firm of 20 employees to a Firm that ranks in the top 15 in the United States.

Mr. Weiner has been instrumental in diversifying Marcum's services and capabilities, which has been key to the Firm's growth. The Marcum Group has grown into an organization providing a comprehensive range of professional services spanning accounting and advisory, technology solutions, wealth management, and executive and professional recruiting. The Marcum Group companies include Marcum LLP; Marcum Technology LLC; Marcum Search LLC; Marcum Financial Services LLC; Marcum Bernstein & Pinchuk LLP; MarcumBuchanan Associates LLC; and Marcum Cronus Partners LLC.

Mr. Weiner has also steadily expanded the Firm's international footprint through strategic mergers and acquisitions in major business markets across the country and overseas. Today, Marcum LLP offers the resources of 1,100 professionals, including over 130 partners, in more than 20 offices throughout New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, California, Florida, Grand Cayman and China.

In addition to his responsibilities as Managing Partner, Mr. Weiner manages Marcum's entertainment practice and is a nationally recognized expert on personal business management for the entertainment industry. Mr. Weiner served as Executive Producer of the Universal Pictures films "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum," starring Matt Damon and released in July 2004 and August 2007, respectively. He was the Executive Producer of "The Hades Factor," a mini-series that aired on CBS television in April 2006, and a Producer of "The Bourne Legacy," released by Universal Pictures in August 2012 starring Jeremy Renner.

In 2012, Mr. Weiner was named an inaugural Managing Partner Elite by Accounting Today in this debut industry program. He was recognized for his "national drive" in growing Marcum from a regional firm to a national leader. "Few managing partners can boast growth like that, and even fewer could successfully manage the resulting complexity: Weiner's discipline and vision make all the difference," the publication wrote.

Two years previously, he was named among Accounting Today's "Top 100 Most Influential People," a list that boasted many of the industry's best known leaders, including AICPA president Barry Melancon as well as public officials, CPAs, attorneys, regulators, educators and vendors who exemplify leadership and influence the accounting field.

Mr. Weiner is a founding member of the LEA/Leading Edge Alliance, the second largest international association of independent accounting firms. In 2009, he received the LEA/Leading Edge Alliance's "On the Edge Innovation Award," which recognizes an individual who has made an enduring and pioneering contribution to the public accounting profession.
