Bruce C. Roff is an Audit Partner in the Firm’s New York City office. He serves as the National Practice Group Leader for its National Real Estate Industry group and is a member of its Construction Industry and SEC Practice groups. He possesses more than 20 years of experience providing, audit, tax, transaction, internal control and advisory services to owners, builders, lenders and users of real estate as well as a wide range of other industries including health care, telecommunications, apparel, technology, entertainment, manufacturing and distribution.
Mr. Roff also serves as the Firm's local leader of the Technology Assurance Services Practice group for the New York region and has extensive experience providing SAS 70/SSAE 16 audits, Sarbanes- Oxley Act 404 audit and consulting services. He is an expert in the use of computerized audit techniques to access and analyze data to maximize audit efficiency.
Mr. Roff has worked extensively with major real estate private equity funds and domestic and offshore real estate investment trusts as well as numerous other privately-held and publicly-traded middle market companies. He has in-depth knowledge and extensive background with reporting requirements for publicly-traded companies. Through his expert counseling, Mr. Roff has successfully guided numerous clients through the maze of becoming publicly traded.
In addition, Mr. Roff is a technical advisor to the AICPA real estate accounting and auditing guides.
