Arthur M. Scherr is a Partner in the Philadelphia office and heads the Assurance Services practice for the region. He is a member of the Firm’s SEC and Technology Assurance Services practice groups. Throughout his more than 35 years of experience, Mr. Scherr has developed a reputation for successfully cultivating long-standing client relationships with publicly-held and privatelyowned companies spanning a variety of industries. He prides himself on a high level of responsiveness and works closely with his clients to ensure their compliance with the latest technical standards.

In addition to working with clients, Mr. Scherr is one of the Firm’s Quality Control Partners for accounting and auditing. He provides in-house training programs on newly issued technical pronouncements, methodologies for auditing procedures and financial statement disclosure requirements.

Mr. Scherr maintains an acute awareness of the latest industry financial trends and shares his knowledge on a regular basis with the Firm’s professional staff and members of industry organizations. He is much sought after for presentations and lectures on such topics as forecasting,budgeting, accounting and auditing.

Mr. Scherr joined the Firm in 1981 after spending seven years with an international “Big 4” accounting firm.
